CMPTR11 - Overview

Glass, combination, platinum rod ORP electrode

Best for: Routine laboratory ORP measurement

ORP electrodes
ORP (or redox) electrodes are used for measuring oxidation/reduction potentials using the mV scale of a pH meter. The sensing electrode is made from a noble metal, usually platinum, though gold works better in some applications. The metal is configured into a ball, rod or flat disc shape and the reference system is identical to that used in pH electrodes. Thermo Electron can also make different shapes and dimensions on request. All fixed cable electrodes have a one metre cable as standard.

For best ORP results see our K-series ORP electrodes
