A good cleaning and maintenance regime helps maintain precision as well as prolonging life of electrodes. Choice of cleaning solution depends on the type of samples. Rinsing with propanol or a proprietary cleaner such as Decon 90® is often useful. The electrode storage bottles protect probes from physical damage too.
